Cleveland County Finance & Purchasing DepartmentRisk ManagementThe County Finance Director, in cooperation with the Assistant County Manager and Human Resources Director, administers the County's risk management policy and manages loss prevention activities in accordance with federal and state laws. In this capacity, the three managers analyze loss trends and provide the vision and the expertise required to reduce County losses while maximizing cost savings. As such, the three managers and their staff perform the following tasks:
Annually, the County hires independent auditors to review our risk management policy for compliance with N.C. General Statutes and other governing legislation.
