In addition, staff are assigned to one of two Units in the County Finance & Purchasing Department:

Unit-Collaboration
- this unit provides guidance concerning proper accounting, budgeting, and inventory control and manages grantor and vendor relations

Unit-Operations
- this unit enforces purchase requirements, reconciles bank statements, ensures operation of the computerized financial system, and performs a myriad of other tasks

Unit-Payments
- this unit records actual revenues (incoming payments) and expenditures (outgoing payments)
