Cleveland County Planning Department
The Planning Department has the responsibility for a variety of land use activities, including long range planning, zoning administration, subdivision approval, street names and physical addresses, minimum housing, historic preservation and the Geographic Information System (GIS). We also utilize several boards appointed by the County Commissioners to assist in the administration of these activities:
• Planning Board
• Board of Adjustment
• Historic Preservation Commission
Our offices are located at 311 E. Marion Street in the County Administrative Building.
